These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ajay A S (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the LockCards iOS application, previously named Homecards (the “App”), and related support services.
If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
These Terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”), which also applies to the App. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA or mandatory law, the Apple Standard EULA or mandatory law controls to the extent of the conflict.
LockCards lets you create and edit short notes stored locally on your iPhone. You may choose to display a note as an iOS Live Activity on the Lock Screen and, on supported iPhones, in Dynamic Island. Some Live Activity functionality requires a paid LockCards Premium subscription.
LockCards is a visual note tool. It is not an alarm, calendar, emergency alert, medical device, safety system, or guaranteed notification service. Do not rely on it for medication, emergencies, safety-critical tasks, legal deadlines, financial obligations, travel deadlines, or anything where a missed or delayed display could cause harm or loss.
Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.
You may not:
You retain your rights in the note content you create. The current App stores note content locally and does not upload it to a LockCards server. You give Apple only the limited device-level instructions necessary to display content through ActivityKit when you start a Live Activity.
You are responsible for your notes, for keeping your device and Apple Account secure, and for deciding what is safe to display. Lock Screen and Dynamic Island content may be visible to anyone near your device. Do not display passwords, authentication codes, confidential information, or sensitive personal data.
